Teenage Slumber Party Games to Keep you Awake for a Week.

Teenage slumber party games are good fun for teens as some of them they may stay overnight for the first time ever (that is why we say as well that somebody is playing teen pajama party games or teen sleepover party games) so it makes it for them even more exciting. If for adults staying overnight is sometimes a bit of a hassle for teens it is one of the most exciting things to do specially if they go to stay overnight and have these teenage slumber party games in somebody else's place (99% of the times is a friend) and I don't blame you guys because we are no longer in our teens and we love staying awake in some other's house just to have a slumber party.

Teenage slumber party games usually tend to take place many times among people of the same sex but some other times boys and girls get mixed together which can be as fun as a one-sex only teen slumber party though the people get a little bit limited in terms of feeling embarrassed of doing some things, talking about some issues or playing some teenager slumber party games with the opposite sex.

The best time to play teen slumber party games is when the parents are not around and then inviting friends along to your house. These teen slumber party games can be as simply as playing video games. Myself sometimes even though I am not a teenager anymore I played some Wii party games overnight and you can't imagine how fun it gets playing with the Nintendo and your friends all night long and having a video game competition. Having a movie marathon is another great idea instead of playing teen slumber party games. Of course, permission to have other friend's into one's place is a must. So if you are a teen wanting to have a teen slumber party find out when your parents will be away and ask them for permission to have your friends to stay in your place overnight. Put fragile and delicate stuff away in case you play any games that may cause some little accidents and invite your friends along some time in advanced. Parents should be open minded about these parties and of course will say what is allowed or not to do or to touch in the house.

OK. Let's go for some teen slumber party games and ideas that you will love. Some of them are classical teenage slumber party games and some others just created by me. Enjoy!

It it were. Material needed. None.

1. One of the group goes out from the room and goes a bit far away.2. The others have to choose one of the group.3. The person that left the group comes back and has to ask questions to the others to find out whom they have chosen.4. Questions should be asked following these patterns. If it were a flower, which flower would it be? It it were and animal .... It it were a trip ... If it were a country ...5. The others have to answer explaining why that person would be that flower, animal, trip, etc.6. Avoid saying rude things or those that could hurt some other's feelings.7. When the guess is made then the person chosen by the group goes away now and has to guess.

Alternative. The players sit forming a circle and one of them thinks of another person of the group. The others ask him/her questions of this kind: "if it were an animal it would be ..." and he/she has to answer till the others guess who it is. The person who was chosen as the guess thinks of another person and he gets the questions this time and so on.

News from papers. Material needed. News from papers.

1. People get in pairs or in groups of 3 people and a bunch of that week's pieces of news are handed to each group.2. Each group reads the pieces of news and try to perform them using sign language.3. At the beginnning only the titles of the news will be performed, later on with some more experience people will perform parts of them.

Pillow fight. Material needed. Pillows.

1. You could go for a pillow fight. Just make sure these are soft enough and that you don't allow to hit each other on some delicate parts of the body: like on the head for example or just try to play gently with each other. In case you are not sure if you are going to be able to control your strength then get some protection like american football helmets for your head or choose another game.

Making up ghost and creepy stories for teenage slumber party games . Material needed. Some imagination.

1. When I was a teeneger I used to go for summer camps and It was so exciting tough It scared me to death having our monitor getting us night time a little bit away from the house where we were staying and telling us some scary stories. Some other monitor in the very best moment of the story when we were really scared would eventually show up disguised as a wild beast, a bear, etc. according to what the story was about. We panicked and we ended up going back to bed still scared and saying to each other: I think the "bear" for example was John, the monitor. I undertand that at home disguising as some creepy beast would be hilarious rather than scary but whether you are a father or a young guy/girl looking to create some teenage slumber party games out of telling creepy stories to your children or friends, make them up sounding as real as possible because if they sound unreal or to science-fiction it won't scare at all. A good piece of advise to create a quite believable story would be to include yourself, relatives, friends, etc. in the story as something that you witnessed and/or experienced.

Making up and memorizing stories for teenage slumber party games . Material needed. None.

1. Several times me and my friends have been sitting inside a bar along with some drinks and we just have started to make up stories. One says a sentence or two and they others have to continue with the story, everybody adding one or two sentences to the story. The stories sometimes have ended up being hilarious. Alternative. On the other hand people can just make up stories and each one of the players has to tell back again the story from the beginning including his bit so then it becomes a creativity and memory game.

Disguising teenage slumber party games. Material needed. Pieces of old clothes.

1. Take some old clothes from the closet and divide the people into teams.2. Draws lots for the pieces of clothes each team will be having or distribute these among the different teams as equal as possible so that every team has a quite fair chance to create a proper disguise.3. Choose a person of the team who is willing to put the clothes on and the rest of the team will disguise him/her with these pieces of clothes. 4. Use some make-up, lipsticks, etc. to make the person look funnier or more alike to some character.5. Use if you feel like some papers, slims cardboards, etc. and draw and write things on them that you can attach to the clothes of the person disguising with some zelotape or some piece of rope. 6. The team that creates the most original or the more realistic disguise wins. The criteria for choosing the winning disguise may vary.

Making-up teenage slumber party games for girls or for funny guys.

Material needed. Some make-up, lipstick, mirrors, etc.

1. Get people in pairs. One has to put some make-up, lipstick, comb some other's hair to create an original looking-face. The pair who creates the most original looking-face wins.Alternative. Get a mirror for each player. Instead of having somebody else to put make-up, lipstick on another person, everybody does it to herself/himself. It becomes then more difficult.
