Scary Party Games. Terror Guaranteed or your Money Back!

Scary Party Games are fun for all types of ages, though is much easier to prepare and to succeed with them with children and teenagers (including scary halloween party games)than with adults. Above all children followed by teens are much more sensitive to terror and scary slumber party games. Good for you, children or teenagers! You are likely to have more fun with these kind of games. So the challenge will be to create scare party games and to make them fun for adults too.

By the way Halloween 2009 is around the corner. Did you notice it? Are you scared already? Do you need any costumes or accessories to make the best of your halloween scary party games? You can find them inside the number 1 online party store in Costume Express And I will only say it once: Clearance: Save big. Shop now

Let's begin with a few ideas:

1. In scary party games, a good idea would be to play Atmosfear Interactive Board Game with DVD.

Indeed while a handful of board games have attempted to incorporate VHS tapes for a more visceral experience, the technology usually proved too clunky and unmanageable to provide enough fun to make it worth the hassle. But since it relies on digital technology, a DVD is inherently more precise, this makes it easier to work in to such games as Atmosfear.

The game has a horror movie feel to it, featuring mummies, vampires and assorted other beasties and ghoulies. The cards drawn by players often correspond to time marks on the included DVD and ask you to be interactive with your fellow contestants, for instance: "at 46:50, start to giggle insanely. If any opponent asks why you laugh hand them this card and this message: I'm having the last laugh: You're BANISHED to the BLACK HOLE". It's a game for extroverts and technology lovers but if those factors, or the monsters in the design, don't scare you off, it should be a lot of fun anyways.

How to play. The gatekeeper serves as your host in this interactive game of fear and nerves. Move around the board to collect all six keys with the help of special Fate and Time cards. Used effectively, hints from the included DVD give you an edge on the competition. Frighteningly fun and different each time you play. For three to six players.

2. Watch a scary movie of your own choice. For me I find pretty scary: "I am legend" with Will Smith as the main character. They may not advertise it as a terror movie, but it will really thrill you. Then as a part of the beginning of scary party games when the movie is finishing and the names of the actors, productors are coming out then turn off the lights and light some torches spinning them around and screaming. It pretty sure will make some impact on people.

3. Then you can go and try to imitate those scenes of the movie that are the scariest ones or try to imitate the face of the killer, monster, vampire, etc. (bad guy or beast) of the movie with the lights off or almost off. Just do it as soon as the movie has finished so people are still feeling sensitive about it.

4. Get somebody to call just before or after the scary movie to the mobile (cell) phone of somebody in the flat or house and tell him/her seriously that one of his/her family or friends has been assaulted and stolen or just phone before the movie to somebody's mobile saying that someone has just put a bomb in the building. Then you will have to explain that it just was a joke but at least these scary party games ideas will thrill people.

5. Get people to explain the scariest stories or adventures that they have ever experienced in their lives. The scariest adventure wins the contest. Another possibility would be that people could make up scary stories and tell them to the rest. The scariest story wins the contest.

6. Watch a scary movie, one of the people in the flat sits a bit behind the others and in the middle of the movie leaves discretely as he/she is going to the toilet, then he/she disguises as the terror guy or monster of the movie or as any other scary character such as for example: a demon, a vampire, a witch, a serial killer and comes back to the room making noise and screaming with a plastic knife. You can repeat the same with another person in another moment of the movie so people are likely not to be too suspicious about him, and if the rest of the people ask where he/she is going to, the best possible answer would be to it: I am going to the restroom (toilet), then he/she disguises and does the same as the previous person trying to scare everybody out.

7. Another possibility for scary party games would be to have a terror trivia, about scary movies, abouts murderers, car accidents, strange deaths, non-identified flying objects, etc. that perhaps you could create yourself or much easier buy one such as: "Goth. The game of horror trivia" in www.amazon.com for example which is a the game of pure gothic horror that invites you and your friends to take a tour around the graveyard. For each "roll of the bones" you'll be quizzed on your knowledge of the macabre in such categories as Movies & Music Mayhem; Historical Horrors; Bloody Tales and Poetry; and Morgue Examiner. Answer correctly, and you'll earn a tombstone to plant in your graveyard. Fill the graveyard to win the game. For 2 or more players, ages 13 to undead.

8. SAW GAME (New!) I want you to play a game. Have you watched any of the SAW movies? There are 6 SAW movies. You can't miss all of them. At least you should see the first one. They have become a classical scary movie series like the series of A Nightmare on Elm Street.

One of you gets a mask of the puppet with the white face and red cheeks that threatens people to play his super scary games. He acts like the talking puppet in the movie and talks with a low scary-threatening voice: I want you to play a game ... You have to find a key inside the apartment within 10 minutes otherswise you will get severily hurt. Just press the button of the timer to start running and turn off most of the lights and they have to find that key which won't be anywhere.

They won't find the key but they will spend 10 scary minutes looking for it whilst you use a scary voice to remind them every so often how much time is left. At the end make sure that you don't hurt anybody or if you want you could spank gently some of the players on the rear side (specially the ones of your same sex)

We will think of other variations for SAW scary party games that should be on display soon on this website. There could be different SAW scary party games based in each SAW movie.
