Adult Pirate Party Games
Below you have some classical or some common pirate games with some variations and advice of my own that you can adapt to the circumstances using your own imagination. And here there is a list of my own pirate party games that I have made up myself. CLASSICAL PIRATE GAMES Sword fight Everybody specially men would love to fight each other as a pirate with a sword. There's the possibility of using plastics swords and having a sword fight but even this could involve some kind of danger if you hit the opponent with the plastic sword badly and it would turn out to be something else rather than a pirates party game. In that case I would suggest to wear a protection mask for your head like in fencing (It hasn't to be exactly like those ones)and some protection around your chest area. The winner of this pirate game would be the one that manages to touch the opponent within the heart area with an inch (2.5 cm)margin around. The one that touches the opponent's heart area stays there to fight the following opponent and so on ... Finally the real winner of the whole tournament is the person who stays fighting the longest.Recommended: sword fight men agaisnt men and women against women for a more even competition. Milder variation for both adults and children: instead of using plastic swords pirates can fight each other with long bread French loaves. The goal is to break each other's bread loaf without breaking yours and looses the one that ends up with only a stump of bread. Then the winner keeps fighting with others and the one that stays the longest time fighting is the real winner of the tournament. Treasure hunt This is one of the very classical pirate party games and you will need an open space that either can be your house garden or backyard, a park, on the beach which is a more pirate-theme spot or in the countryside and mountains where it would be easier to find better spots to hide the clues and the treasure chest. Divide the participants into different groups of 3 or 4 people or into couples if the number of participants is small and if it is necessary provide them with a pirate map. Create a first clue written with some pirate lingo that leads to the other clues written as well with some pirate lingo. As the participants will most likely not know any pirate jargon, you should provide them with a list of lingo words and expressions that will help them to understand the clues written with some pirate language.Click on the pirate lingo links above to get this jargon list.
