The witch hat. This is a variation of a classical Halloween party games for kids in which you have to put the tail to the donkey. You only have to do a big witch without a hat in a foil or wrapping paper. Children can help you drawing. Then make the hat with cardboard or fine cardboard and put a drawing pin (thumbtack) on it. When you are playing put the witch on the wall. Make 2 or more teams. It will be always better if it is an even number of teams. Blindfold the eyes of the player of a team, spin him/her several times around himself and the kid has to place the witch hat where it belongs with the help of their team mates. The team who takes less time to put the hat wins.Variation. Instead of a witch. Make a cat where you have to place on it the eyes or the tail for example. You may think of other variations. 2. The skeleton. You will need for this game several pieces of paper, cartonboard or fine cartonboard. You can make them yourself or buy them in shops. The most important thing is getting skeletons that have different parts of the body: cranium, two arms, two legs, two hands. The more pieces the more difficult the halloween skeleton puzzle will be. The aim of the game is to build as fast as possible a whole skeleton. The one that finishes putting together the halloween skeleton puzzle wins the game.Variation. Instead of children playing individually and with little paper skeletons, you can make them play in teams with big plastic skeletons. This may be more exciting and fun as Halloween party games for kids. 3. Find the eyes. Hide around the garden or the house several "eyes" which will be tenis table balls with the pupils, iris and a little bit of red drawn on them as if they were eyes and have the children find them. 4. Guess what there is in the Magic Box. Use wrapping boxes from the supermarket and put different things inside of them like sweets with worm and insect shapes, rubber or plastic insects, snake toys, cold spaghetti, peeled grapes, etc. Then close the boxes and make a hole to be able to insert the hand easily. Make two teams and one of the members of each team blinfolded has to put the hand inside the box and guess what there is inside whilst the other team shouts and scares him/her. The team who guesses faster what there is in each box wins. 5. My friend is a mummy. Make two teams and pick up a member of each team who will be the mummy. The rest of the team members have to wrap him/her with toilet paper. The team who covers faster completely their team mate with toilet paper wins which is the team who makes a mummy first out of their team mate. There are classical Halloween Party Games for Kids like: a. Trick or treat. Believed to come from Scotland and Ireland. It is as you may know the Halloween slogan for children in the USA. You can make it a fun game for the party. For each guest write down in a piece of paper a mischief or trick (singing a song, jumping with one leg for a minute for example, act as a ghost, etc). Put it next to a little gift in a paper bag. By turns, the players take a bag and have to do the trick that shows in the piece of paper. b. Apple bobbing. Fill a big bucket full of water and put 6 red apples and 6 green apples. Make 2 teams: one will be the red one and the other the green one. A member of each team has to remove the apples of the colour of his/her team without using the hands. Variations: playing the game standing up, sitting on a chair, kneeling on the floor, using forks trying to drop the fork into an appple. c. Apple biting. Hang apples by strings that you can hold to the wall, to a tree or that other participants may hold at the height of the children's heads. Make sure that there is one apple per kid and that kids have their hands behind their backs. The first one who bites the apple wins.Variation. You may use donuts instead so that the game gets more sticky and funny. As well you can see some other possible Halloween Party Games for Kids in my Halloween Party Games page.
