Halloween Corners. Each corner, or four areas of the room, are called Ghosts, Witches, Goblins and Skeletons. A tag is hung up naming each corner or area.
Kids dance following the tune of whatever music you play. When the music stops, each kid picks a corner or zone to go to. The caller then take outs a card and calls out what is it.
All players in that corner are eliminated. When four or less children remain, each corner can have a maximum of one child. Whoever's left "alive" at the end wins these halloween kids games.
Creepy Spotter. Kids stand in a circle. One child is picked to be the Creepy Spotter. The Creepy Spotter leaves the room, or turns their back, while a child from the circle is chosen to be Creepy.
Creepy chooses the repetitive, rhythmic movements that everybody will make without moving from their places. Movements matching Halloween Kids Games may be:
- Witch stirring a brew action
- Hovering, ghost-like movements
- Creepy, clumsy, jerky zombie movements
- Witch on a broomstick movement
Persuade Creepy to be creative with the actions.
When everybody is emulating Creepy's action, the Spotter returns to the room and starts to observe the children. The Creepy Spotter's job is to guess who Creepy is in three guesses.
Creepy changes the actions as often as possible without being seen by the Spotter. Everyone keeps emulating Creepy's actions.
After three guesses or once the Creepy Spotter guesses Creepy's identity, a new game begins with a new Spotter and a new Creepy being chosen. Hint. Players may need to be persuaded not to look at Creepy, as this will make it very easy to the Spotter.
Halloween Whispers. Children sit in a circle or in a row. The first person is told a Halloween sentence in a whisper. It can be something creepy like: "The eerie, glowing Jack-o-lantern whispered as we walked past." The first kid then whispers it to the next one, who will repeat it to the next and so on.
The exciting part is when the last person tells what they think the message is. It is usually quite different at the end from the original message passed on at the beginning!
