Murder Mystery Party Games. Who the Heck is the Killer?
Murder Mystery Party Games are ideal to have a fun time. To finish the game may take from 1 hour to days. These games are very catchy because you have to figure out the meaning of the clues, play a role, think and try to find out who the killer or the person who committed the crime is.
There are plenty of mystery party games (this link goes to my "mystery party games page") and among them murder mystery games are usually the most popular and the best ones to "kill" (for all ages, group sizes and interactive ones) can only be found in Host-Party.com Though the simplest murder mystery game of all and very popular with different variations for murder mystery party games would be the one in which in a group of at least 10 people there is a killer and a cop (policeman/woman) and Game 1. People are looking to each other and the killer winks the eye to other people and doesn't know who the policeman or woman is. When the killer winks the eye to someone then the persons shouts: Dead! and if the killer winks to the police man or woman then he/she is arrested and the game ends with people saying who they think the killer and the cop are.The murderer who kills the most people wins these murder mystery party games. Game 2. There is another very simple murder mystery game that can be repeated as many times as you like and would need average a minimum of 10 people. A killer, a policeman/woman and a doctor are picked up.Then the narrators whilst everybody are with the eyes shut tells a story something like: In a little village John was having dinner and suddenly he was tosssed out of the window and was hurt seriously. Then the narrator says to the killer to open the eyes and to pick up someone to kill, then he closes the eyes and says to the doc to open the eyes and to guess who the victim is and save him/her, if the doc doesn't guess who the victim is then the police opens the eyes and tries to guess who the killer is. If he/she doesn't guess it, then the victim dies and is eliminated and the narrator carries on the story and the killer picks another victim. If the policeman guesses who the killer is before being killed he/she wins. If the murderer kills the policeman/woman then he or she wins the game. Variations may apply to these murder mystery party games. In order to host a murder mystery party usually there are some steps to follow: 1. You may want to disguise yourself and speak, perform as one of the characters of the game and when the guests arrive greet them and hand them the instructions, game kit or materials needed for the game. 2. The players have to introduce themselves to each other and if given the case say who they are in the murder mystery game. 3. Distribute the clues during the game. Not all at once. Some clues are meant to be revealed or to be hinted and some are meant to be for your eyes only. 4. Solving the case. First you invite the guests to tell how the murder or the action took place, when, why and how. Finally reveal the case and provide the answers. Suggestions: a. You may want to decorate the place theme-like. b. You may want to take pictures of the players during the game and show them to the rest of the players during the game or after the game. c. You may want people to come disguised as his own character in the game or to provide them with some items or clothes that would easily represent their characters.
